 Pacific Coast Iris

Banbury Gem

A good strong growing PCI, not very tall, but gives a good show with numerous flowers all open at once. The flowers are a pinky red with a yellow signal on the falls. Red is a rare colour in the iris family though PCI seem to have more than other iris species.

Bred by Marjorie Brummitt in 1972, probably the most famous English PCI breeder of recent times.

This iris will happily self seed.
